Advantages: As good as a tonic
Disadvantages: Contains high doses of caffeine
This stimulation drink can be found in many stores around the counrty, not just Asda. I came across it in Poundland, four cans for £1.00! Magic! I must admit, I thought it was going to be a bitter drink and struggle to get it down mainly because of the price, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I'd been shoppping with my daughter in the city and I was desparate for a drink. You know, one of them summer days when you end up getting fed up with pacing the streets looking for the school uniform. So, out of the shop I opened the pack and found this slim red and silver can, nothing special, just honest packaging. Still dubvious about the taste, I opened the ring pull and took my first tentative sip. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised! The mixed fruit carbonated taste is fantastic. It's not like Red Bull, but far more smooth and doesn't grab you at the back of the throat and leaves a tingly feeling as it hits the spot!
The caffeine hit is very quick to install itself within the body. So if you are intolerent to caffeine PLEASE do not drink this! I find it better than other stimlulation drinks by far and I've always got some in the house. This stimulation drink is great for a pick me up when you need that added bit of zing to accomplish your task, but I would be careful not to becaome to dependant on it. The can does warn you that it has 30mg/100ml which is high, but is no different to other makes.
Enjoy this stimulation drink with caution and if you ever need to "Emerge" from the heavy grind of your day, need a boost, drink a can and face the day with new vigour and vitality.
Summary: Red Bull might give you wings, but Emerge gives you speed
