Disadvantages: First bottle wasn't such a good taste

I am quite fond of my fizzy drinks, thought I have been trying to cut back slightly since Christmas. I have been quite liking the taste of Asda's Limeade lately but it isn't all that limey tasting to be honest but it is still a pleasant tasting drink nevertheless.

The 2 litre plastic bottle of pop costs less than one pound and I think its' great value for money. The drink itself is a good shade of green and looks like it should taste of pure limes. It has a bit of an odd aftertaste I think. It tastes fine when you first swallow, then when you put down the glass and wait second or two there is a definite odd taste at the back of your mouth, almost like a plastic chemical residue which I'm not too keen on. This happened with the first bottle I had but when I opened the second bottle I didn't notice anything at all so maybe it was just that the bottle had been standing for a long time and it was near to its sell by date.

Like all Asda pops this is suitable for vegetarians and it doesn't contain any artificial additives or flavourings etc. It is very fizzy and the fizz seems to last a good long time after the bottle has been opened up. It's a pleasant sweet taste and I like it but as I say, I wasn't so keen on the first bottle I had. The little lad really likes this fizzy pop too so I'd have to say it's a winner.

Summary: Overall I'm pleased with this
