Asda Probiotic yogurt drink - strawberry
6X100G
Being a big fan of probiotic drinks, I always try to find new kinds that can be inexpensive and delicious at the same time, because it is true that I like these yogurt drinks but I don't want drinking one or two daily to end up being an expensive habit. I found Asda Probiotic yogurt drink for £1.28 per 6 bottle pack which was an excellent value for money, so I thought trying it won't hurt.
Six tiny white bottles covered with a pink label of this drink come inside a white and pink cardboard sleeve. It should be kept refrigerated of course, but it has a very good shelf life for the ones I bought had more than fifteen days to expire.
Both the smell and taste of strawberry are not strong in this drink. It smells of yogurt mostly and taste of sweetened yogurt with only a hint of fruit flavour although it contains 5% strawberry juice from concentrate. In addition to this, a bottle of this drink would provide you with 40% of your recommended daily amount of Vitamin C, and it has L. Casei which is the good bacteria that help you digest food.
This product contains milk, of course, with possible traces of nuts and /or seeds. Each bottle gives 74 calories which is more than what a probiotic drink that has sweeteners in it has. It is true that the product has no more than 3% fat, but it contains sugar rather than sweeteners. So, it is recommended for those of you who do not prefer to consume aspartame and for those who find the other probiotic drinks rather expensive.
