Advantages: Keeps my teaspoon count high

Disadvantages: Doesnt taste good

I have to say from the start that I don't really believe all this bumph about Probiotic and prebiotic yogurt drinks being super wonderful and solving all teh gut problems of the world. My thoughts are that humans have managed for thousands of years without the need for probiotics without coming to any harm, and it's an ad mans dream.

But that aside I buy these drinks because they are handy for putting in the kid's lunchboxes. Because they are a dink it means I don't have to send a teaspoon with them, this might not seem like a big deal, but in the term before I started using them I ended up with only two teaspoons left in my cutlery drawer; the others had either disappeared at school, or more likely been tipped in the bin as they emptied their lunch boxes when they got home. I used to buy Frubes instead, but they've got a little old for them .

So each little pot (which is 100g) isn't to bad on calories.

The taste isn't very strong, and doesn't taste like real strawberries, but has the synthetic strawberry taste that you might find in the likes of strawberry Starburst. Because it's a drink it's a lot thinner than your average yoghurt and not as creamy as even value yogurts.

The texture is quite chalky and it leaves the yogurt sticking to the roof of your mouth and the back of your teeth. It also has an aftertaste that's similar to the one you get with sweetners, although I don't believe it has any sweetner in it.

I still buy it because the kid like them, or more importantly my daughter does, and she's the only one who has a packed lunch now. They've rocketed in price lately though, they were £1 a pack, but they're now £1.67!
