Advantages: refreshing , cheap

Disadvantages: none

The sparkling water trend slowly comes over from the mainland which is good for me as I much prefer sparkling to still water.

ASDA offers 2 litre bottles of sparkling water from their Smartprice range for 17 pence each - a good price but you can get 2 litre of sparkling water at Tesco's for 9 pence a bottle. Still, I always buy the water when I shop at ASDA, which is not so often as it's quite far away from my place.

Packing:

The sparkling water comes in the well known green/white bottle without any fancy design which is fine by me as I want to buy water and not a nice but more expensive bottle.
Packaging and storage information are given on the label as well as a warning that the bottle is under pressure and should be opened with care. In my opinion they could have used this space to provide a nutrition box.

Look & Taste

It is sparkling water, it looks like sparkling water and it tastes like sparkling water :-) I do like the fizzy and refreshing taste and prefer it to the normal water.
There's slightly too much fizz and the bottle is too full, meaning that every time I open a fresh bottle I get terribly wet. The water stays even fizzy after a few days in the fridge.

I always have the feeling that the Tesco sparkling water leaves me with a slight aftertaste - I cannot taste anything like that here with the ASDA water, just pure and refreshing.
-------------------------

Nutrition & Ingredients

Well, water and? Sadly there is no hint on the bottle which mineral nutrition or other trace elements are in the water. This is a bit disappointing as it is an information I would like to have and at least in my opinion an info that ASDA should provide.
-------------------------

Price & Value

For 17 pence a bottle you cannot really ask for much. I'm perfectly happy with the sparkling water and I buy it from time to time when I go to ASDA - that's not because I don't like it but purely because the nearest ASDA is 40min away and we don't go there that often.

For this price and the pure taste I give it a 09/10 and I can definitely recommend it.

Ähm, because they are so hot so I have to keep them in the fridge?! :-)

Damn, thanks for the hint, I should read what I write!

LOL!!! Typo alert!
"The water stays even fizzy after a few gays in the fridge."

Why on earth do you keep gays in the fridge?
Sorry, couldn't resist!
