      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Not for drinking!

Loving soft drinks the way I do when I spotted this Summer Punch Soft Drink in Asda costing 42p a bottle I really wanted to try it out so I treated myself a bottle!

      The Packaging:

1 litre tall see-through plastic bottle with a silver screw on/off cap to the top of it. It has a label which is red and white and on the front of it I am told that it is Asda Summer Punch, Low Calorie and that it is 1 litre in size and is suitable for Vegetarians and contains no artificial colours or flavours. On the back of the bottle other information given includes ingredients and a full nutritional chart being stated, warnings and storage advice is given, there is a recipe on there too for an alcoholic cocktail using this drink and contact details for Asda are given. Nice enough informative bottle this is!

      The Summer Punch:

Well in colour it looks like rose wine. Slightly blush pink, slightly fizzy with a weird sort of none distinctive fruity aroma to it that really isn't all that appetising at all.

In short this drink is absolutely vile. After I tried it and I hated it with a passion I made other people try it too and I didn't find one person who would contradict me...it's simply gross and the oddest drink I have ever tasted!

It has a mix of flavours that are hard to detect but on the ingredient list apples, lemon juice, hibiscus and carrots all get a mention (along with a few other things as well, of course).

It's incredibly sweet, packs lots of sweeteners into it and you can't say it's reminiscent of anything really. I guess it has a weird sugary taste of carrots to it if I'm hard pushed on flavour to describe it and it really does possess a horrid sort of sweetener flavour to it that is incredibly hard to shift from the palette after drinking it.

I hate this drink I wouldn't insult alcohol into sharing a glass with it and I'm yet to find a person that loves it, it's simply yuk!
