I enjoy a cup of tea or two during the day. Well actually make that a cup of tea or 10, because I get through at least that many in a day.
So I've drunk my fair share of tea from various suppliers and Asda Tea Bags are just as good as any others.
Of course tea bags will never beat proper tea leaves, but unless I'm making a full pot for all of us, I've joined the masses and taken the easy way out by using teabags.
The Asda teabags aren't made from leaves of just one country, they're a a mixed blend.
For me they are only usable when I'm drinking tea with milk, because they brew almost immediately, and since lemon tea has to be a delicate flavour, these tea bags are far too strong.
But for milk tea they make a nice brew, it's never a bitter brew, just a very refreshing taste. Although you'd be hard pushed to make a weak drink with these, you can satisfy the palates of both medium and strong tea drinkers.
You've find that you always need to give the teabag a shake before putting it in the cup or teapot, because you do get a lot of dust in the box, but this is a problem with all teabags I find.
At the moment these bags are £1.29 for 80, or £2.65 for 160, so I'm not sure who's done Asda's pricing lately, but it works out cheaper to buy 2 boxes of 80 (especially since they're 2 for £2), the 160's are 2 for £3, but that's probably only useful if you drink as much as I do.
Summary: Highly recommended
