Bacardi Breezer

I'm really not a big drinker. Years ago I lost my marbles on Gin so since then I really try to watch myself. I also lived with an alcoholic so I've seen what excessive drinking an do. I'm not anti drink but I'm just someone who isn't that keen on the taste ... until I found alcopops that it! I like most of them particularly the ones that really do taste like pop! Admittedly, writing about alcohol is something of a rarity for me. After all, I can’t use it as make-up or read it, so why would I be interested? (LOL) I prefer a cup of tea to booze, to be honest. It is not often I drink Bacardi Breezers but they provide a good alternate when you don't want to drink a lot or when you do not want a really alcoholic tasting drink. They are a blend of Bacardi run, fizzy water and fruit juices. They basically have the taste of a fruity carbonated drink. Bacardi Breezers come in a variety of flavours such as Lime, Peach, Watermelon & Blueberry. My favourites are Watermelon, Pineapple and Blueberry. They are fizzy and sweet tasting, you cannot taste any of the Bacardi in them at all. They also have a low alcohol percentage around 4%. Alco-pops came onto the scene a few years ago - the likes of WKD and Bacardi Breezer giving teens and early twenty-somethings, an altenative to vodka and coke, and lager. It seems that Bacardi Breezers, among other equally fruity alcoholic drinks are some of the first that people my age, namely teenagers, get into when they start drinking. It’s not generally the boys, who I think secretly love the taste, but it’s just about impossible for a party to go by without huge crates of Bacardi being cracked open (well, not that dramatic hehe!).
