Bacardi Breezer ... came onto the scene a few years ago - the likes of WKD and Bacardi Breezer giving teens and early twenty-somethings, an altenative to vodka and coke, and lager. They have been openly criticised for appealing too much to underage drinkers - being more like soft drinks than anything we have seen before, and at the same time being "pocket money prices", thereby tempting youngsters to indulge (and over-indulge) when perhaps they shouldn t be. A bottle of bacardi breezer is typically 4% volume - whilst not huge, this is the same as many lagers, and you can get drunk on these just as you could be a little the worse for wear after several bottles of Bud. 100 Calorie Blueberry Bacardi Breezer ... the Blueberry Bacardi Breezers appear a murkier colour than Blue WKD. *Price* I noticed Asda often have these on special offer. A pack of four 275ml bottles usually cost around £4.50. Asda recently were selling these four packs for £2.50. This does seem like excellent value, but in my opinion on special offer that s still £2.50 more than I would be willing to pay for these drinks! *The Drink* The scent of the drink is very odd. Like with most alcopops this drink smells fruity but this is a very artificial unnatural scent (even worse than a Blue WKD). Bacardi Superior ... definitely my drink. I have been drinking this for over ten years (not constantly). I have read some other reviews on bacardi which all point out how strong this drink is. Yes it is strong and I never drink it straight. I drink it with diet coke mainly. The only way i can describe it is that when mixed with coke it has a very delicate sweet flavour that is a little like Jack Daniels but very subtle I think you have to have good taste buds to enjoy this drink. I think you either love it or hate it. The smell of the stuff itself is very strong, paint stripper strong!
