Around Christmas and New Year my stock of ales tends to increase either through the generosity of friends and relatives who know that as a CAMRA member I like my beer or because this is the time when I can settle down to try some of the rarer and more unusual products from breweries all around the UK, and indeed, the World. This year the replenishments were down to me as my pressies this year centred around my other favourite, Scotch Malt whiskies.
