I apologise. About 12 months ago I received a survey about a new product concept that the Baileys bods had come up with, based on what the makers stated about Baileys Glide I clicked 'would definitely buy' and 'fits the Baileys range perfectly'. I was wrong. What have Baileys done? While my favourite chocolate bar and perfume will change by the day, ask me any time what my favourite alcoholic beverage is and I'll say Baileys. Every time. But *this* isn't Baileys. Yes, it's made by Baileys but erm... no, it's not Baileys. It markets itself as a blend of Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla 'for a longer, lighter experience'. I'll tell you now, ... Read the complete review

Baileys never seemed like the obvious choice of spirit to use as the base for an alcopop style drink. After all, it isn?t a spirit in the way you think of Bacardi and Archers as being a spirit ? something traditionally drunk with the addition of a mixer. It?s something that is drunk on its? own, sometimes with ice and is really a solo effort. Alcopops generally seem to be fruit based as well. Both Bacardi Breezers and Archers Aqua are spirits with the addition of fruit flavourings. Reef and WKD are much the same. But Baileys is a cream liqueur, and the combination of fruit and cream is not ... Read the complete review

I am a fan of Baileys and these miniatures that fit in the fridge have a hint of vanilla so I thought they would be tasty. I bought two packets of four yesterday at £4.99 each, a gentleman in the store came up to me to say that big bottles of Baileys were on offer for £12 (which is obviously much better value), but I wanted these bottle because they were miniatures. I am making friends and family members "lucky pots of gold" this Christmas and Baileys glides will be appearing a few of those. In the name of research I decided to try one of the bottles an I must say... I was a little disappointed. It didn't have the same, strong creamy ... Read the complete review

Bacardi Breezers have a lot to answer for. Since Bacardi Breezers were first introduced every single spirit and liqueur has jumped on the bandwagon. Some of them have been great whilst some have not worked so well. Baileys is the latest to jump on the bandwagon with Bailey?s Glide. When I saw it in Asda last week I just had to try it to see what it was like. What is Bailey?s Glide? Bailey?s Glide is a lighter longer version of Bailey?s Irish Cream. It is apparently mixed with vanilla flavouring and come in 200ml bottles and is approximately £1.29. It is widely available from off licenses and supermarkets. The Purchase decision. I ... When it comes to alcohol, I'm not a very big drinker at all. The only booze I touch really is beer and Baileys. When I'm in the pub, I'll hit the beer. And as I don't often go in pubs, that's rare! But when I'm at home, I like a drop of something else, and that's normally Baileys. Fast track back to my Dad's 60th birthday (not too long ago!). He knows I like Baileys, and he'd bought some bottles of Baileys Glide 'for the girls'. Well, I drank one. Then for the rest of the night it was, "Dad, can I have another one?" Dad came and saw me the other day and bought me 4 x 200ml of this. I'm not sure how much he paid for this, but I believe you ... Read the complete review
