... decided it was worth trying! The product~ Baileys is a thick, milky liqueur that contains irish cream and whiskey. It's a beige colour and has a very nice aftertaste. When I bought the Mint version I opened it expecting it to be green! Of course it still had the same reassuring baileys colour so it scored points there with me!There was no definite minty smell either which made me wonder if these bottles were on offer because of some defect- had someone forgot to actually add the mint? The bottle itself is a stylish b...more

As part of my christmas I got given a bottle of Baileys Irish cream With a Hint of Mint Chocolate. It was lovely! Baileys is a drink manufactured by a company called Diageo who also manufacture other drinks like Bells Scotch Whisky, Johnnie walker whisky, Gins and Tia Maria. I've always been a fan of Baileys original on ice and often will finish off with a baileys on ice after having a few beers in the house one evening. It has a pleasant sweet taste to it and I think it must be quite easy on the stomach because of it's creamy texture. Baileys although is a type of whiskey, does have less alcohol content (about 17% vol) whereas whisky ...  Read the complete review

Shortly before Christmas 2005, I was wandering around the drinks aisles of my local Tesco with the wonderfully vague remit of buying “some alcohol” for imbibing over the impending holidays. Having already seized the obligatory seasonal bottle of De Kupyer cherry brandy, I was moving in the general direction of the rum section when my eyes fell open something strange and new. They were bottles of Baileys Irish Cream, but oddly some had brown labels and caps, whilst others were green. Moving in for a closer inspection, I saw that the lovely people at Baileys had produced some limited edition twists on their classic Irish whiskey cream liqueur: the brown labelled bottles ...  Read the complete review

I'm not the hugest fan of Baileys in the world, but I don't mind the odd glass or three (*cough*). I find the actual drink far too sickly so if I drink it at home I add about the same amount of milk to it which makes it a little less cloggy (would add ice cubes but don't ice in my drinks for some reason). Anyway, last year when I was still working my boss at the time gave me a bottle of the Baileys with Caramel for my birthday.. I thought it was lovely of her to remember but since found out it was a freebie from the brewery (I worked in a pub) and nobody else liked it! Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth I kindly accepted the gift and took it (hastily) ...  Read the complete review

This was a great idea from the Baileys group, to add certain hints of flavour such as Mint to the well-known Baileys cream liqueur drink. This really brought the drink back into popularity, especially at Christmas when everyone seemed to getting a bottle for someone. I must admit that I initially thought that adding a flavour like mint would ruin the traditional taste of Baileys but I was very wrong. The mint is just as they say a hint and it just gives the creamy taste of the liqueur a cooling minty finish after every sip. As I usually add an ice cube to the drink this makes the Mint version of baileys work even better. R and A Bailey ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Baileys Irish Cream With a Hint of Mint Chocolate: Great In Hot Chocolate (213 words)

Baileys launched its "hint of creme caramel" and "hint of mint chocolate" flavours at Christmas only a couple of years ago. As someone who always tried to keep a bottle of Baileys in the cupboard, and loved mint chocolate I was quick to pick some up. First be advised that when they say "a hint of" they really do mean a hint. The mint chocolate flavour is really terribly faint under the usual Bailey's flavour. It is rather enjoyable though. You can drink it on its own, or dribble it over ice cream, or in my favourite way - warm up a cold winter night by adding a shot to hot chocolate. It's smooth and creamy and warming ...  Read the complete review
