I Gag Every Time I Smell This... (Baileys Irish Cream)

At around £13.00 for a bottle of this, it isn´t the cheapest alcohol around. I really am not fond of this drink. People say it is an alternative to something like Vodka because it has a really nice flavour. I thought it would genuinely be nice like WKD or something, but instead it is grotesque.

When I bring the glass to me nose, I almost instantly feel sick. The pungent smell of the alcohol almost makes me gag. When I drink it, it tastes pretty smooth but has a really nasty aftertaste. I may get to like it as I grow older, but for now, I am not a fan of baileys at all.

For those who do want to try it, it is best served in a large glass with lots of ice. Some people serve it with ice cream as well. Personally, I think this is horrible and just ruins the ice cream. The flavour is quite creamy and it is a smooth drink. I can imagine that some people find the flavour nice, but personally I just gag over it! Nevertheless, it is something that you should try because it is really unique as well and an Irish drink, so it´s a must!
