Disadvantages: Don't drink too much at once

Some things just evoke Christmas for me and Baileys Irish Cream is one of them. There is something childish, and yet grown-up about this delicious drink. The smooth chocolatey creaminess is beautifully complemented by the after-kick of Irish whisky.

Baileys can be served in a number of ways and the following are a few of my suggestions of my favourites!

~Simply over ice- cool and elegant

~Equal measures of Baileys and smooth, hot espresso- perfect after dinner

~Baileys Latte- add a shot of Baileys to a steaming hot milky coffee for a warming winter treat

~Baileys Hot Chocolate- as above but hot chocolate instead of Latte. A grown-up childish treat.

~Baileys blended with ice- add a generous measure of Baileys to and equal amount of ice and blitz. This makes a cooling, longer drink.

I'm thoroughly looking forward to my Christmas Baileys once again- and the great thing is that a big bottle lasts me the whole year!
