Lovely hubbie just bought me a bottle of Baileys. Asda have an offer on at the moment and it's only £5 for a small bottle.

Baileys is a delicious creamy alocoholic drink. It is so silky and creamy that it is almost not like drinking alcohol at all, other than the fact it contains a pretty generous helping of Irish Whiskey and so there is a definite kick. I also find that it gets me tipsy quite quickly because it is as easy as drinking milkshake! The alcoholic content is a hefty 17% so it is definitely tougher than it looks! It is slightly sweet in taste but you can definitely also taste the whiskey.

Most people like to have it with ice and that is certainly how I have it when I am out and about but if I leave it for a while and forget then go back to it, it does also taste delicious at room temperature - much like a good whiskey, it can be enjoyed at any temperature!

Despite the cream, this liquor keeps remarkably well, which is good if you are not a big drinker, as you know it is safe. The bottle we just bought does not go off until 2011. That's pretty impressive for something with cream in it.
