Advantages: Versatile, great taste.

Baileys is a great drink that can be enjoyed on its own over ice or in a number of different ways!

My favourite is to add Baileys to a latte coffee, mmmm delicious, especially on a cold winters night!

For summer though it's great to have as a blended drink by adding 50ml per person to a blender full of ice and pouring into a tall glass, it's nice to sprinkle a little chocolate powder on the top too.

You can now buy baileys with a hint of mint or creme caramel but if you get these don't expect the flavours to be strong, it really is just a 'hint' of the flavour.

If you want to mix baileys then be very careful as anything like lemonade or coke will just make it curdle which not only looks awful but you'll have wasted Baileys! It's best to look online for some Baileys recipes if you're unsure.

Another great way of using Baileys is to add it to a dessert like cheesecake, just take a basic cheesecake recipe and add a shot of Baileys to the cheese filling, it's not enough to affect you with the alcohol content and it adds a dash of that lovely baileys taste.

50ml of baileys is 0.85 units of alcohol.
