Advantages: Great taste
Disadvantages: A lot of sugar
Introduction
Irn Bru is the biggest scottish soft drink and was first made in 1901 in Glasgow. Originally it was spel Brew but as a change in the law made them change the name as it wasnt actually brewed they choose the name Irn Bru. It's made by the drinks firm Barr and is the third best selling drink in the United Kingdom behind Coca Cola and Pepsi. So it's fair to say that it is a pretty popular drink in the United Kingdom.

The look and taste
Irn Bru is a very recognisable drink even with the various variations around the world, this is due to it's bright orange colour. Something that I've only seen elsewhere with Lucozade and it's unique taste. the taste is hard to describe apart from saying that it is quite sweet and is really nice especially when it's cold so better keep it cold as it is suggested on the bottle.
The only downside to Irn Bru in my opinion is the amount of sugar that is in one 500ml bottle. You will have had 58% of your recommended daily allowance of sugar with one bottle. This really is the only downside to it so don't drink too much of it however tempting it is given the taste.

Overall
This is one of my favourite soft drinks and although I normally drink Pepsi Max I used to drink Irn Bru quite a bit. I hadnt had it for a while until recently. If you have never tried it just give it a go and I'm sure you will like it and if you havent had one for a while pick up a bottle and you'll soon remember why you liked it in the first place.-
Summary: Great tasting
