This is the national drink of Scotland, in my opinion anyway and I'm sure for alot of other people aswell. And since I am Scottish and live in Scotland I drink a whole lot of this brillaint orange drink. First produced in 1901, with a fair bit of mystery surrounding it because of special ingredients. One of which had to be revealed. I'm pretty ... Read the complete review

I was amazed the first time as an adult that I spent time in Scotland as to just how much Irn Bru people were drinking! It was seen as a mixer during the evening (Gin and Irn Bru!!!) and as a hang over cure the following day. The drink comes in a variety of sizes and shapes, small bottles, large 2 litre bottles and also cans. Irn Bru is ... Read the complete review

When I was young I lived in England and my late Granny used to give me this drink. She said it was good for me as it contain Iron to keep me strong. Twenty years later I now live in Scotland and this drink is everywhere. It is a national pride. If you can't find this drink in a shop you're not in Scotland. The branding and ... Barrs Irn Bru - what can I say I am truly addicted. I got the taste for Irn Bru when i was pregnant with my son 5 years ago. My husband had to rastion it as I could drink 2 litres a day and that could be a dangerous sugar intake especially when pregnant. I have tried various supermarkets own take on this but none have that ... Read the complete review

Irn Bru is Scotland's national drink - definitely more popular than whisky where I live! It is has been made to a secret recipe in Glasgow, Scotland by A.G Barr Ltd for over 100 years. Irn Bru's tag line has always been "Bru'd in Scotland from girders". This claim probably refers to the 0.002% ammonium ferric citrate listed ... Read the complete review

Mention Scotland to someone who's not from here, and what's the first thing that comes to mind? Some might say kilts, tossing the caber, Rabbie Burns or even the horrible weather! But I imagine most would associate us with our 'national drink' - no not whisky, the famous Irn Bru! With it's distinctive bright orange colour, and it's ... Read the complete review

Scotland without Irn-Bru is like a ballet without ballerinas! As a born and bred Scot, I just can't do without this stuff. An American friend described it as tasting like bubblegum, which I just can't see, but it is really sweet. It doesn't leave your mouth with the same kind of coating as Coca-Cola, which is a blessing. Sadly, I ... Read the complete review

As an Englishman who spent several years in Scotland, it is impossible to stress quite how big Irn-Bru actually is North of the border. Put it this way; for everyone that orders a vodka and Coke on a night out in England, they would order a vodka andirb-Bru up in Scotland. It is sold in Mcdonalds, there are TV adverts aplenty and promotional ... Read the complete review

I'm Scottish, so I'm possibly not the most unbiased person to be talking about Scotland's second national drink. However, I will tell you what I think about this amber nectar, and a couple of uses that the advertisers don't (always) point out. Firstly, it is an exceedingly sweet drink, so if you're not into bottled sugar, it might be ... Read the complete review

How can you describe Irn-Bru? Well, its an orange coloured, fizzy drink. Tastewise, its...err....well...its fruity, refreshing and, well, totally unique. Everyone has a different impression of what it tastes like. The only way to describe the taste is to tell you to find yourself a bottle and have a drink. First brewed in Scotland in ... IRN BRU a delicious orange coloured drink made from girders (well not really). This drink is manufactured by Barr`s and has been around for over 100 years its recipe has been kept secret all that time although many people have tried to emulate it calling it iron brew because the actual spelling IRN BRU is copyright to Barr's. This drink is very ... Read the complete review

Awhh god this is one of my most "missed" items when I'm out the country. The last time I checked, Scotland was the "only" country on the planet to outsell Coca Cola, and boy it done this with ease. Everyone here, loves their Irn Bru, young high school kids on lunch breaks, white van drivers, nurses, doctors, brickies, ... Read the complete review

What first attracted me to this drink was the colour. Nothing that orange could possibly ever be good for. We're not talking carrot orange. We're not even talking true scotsman ginger orange. It is a wonderfully lurid shade of orange that I have never found anywhere else, and I love it. First of all, lets discuss the taste. Its hard ... Read the complete review

---IRN BRU--- Irn Bru is great! I first drank this in Scotland when I lived there some years ago. It's Phenomenal. As the bottle says, bru'd in Scotland to a secret recipe for over 100 years. Irn Bru is manufactured by Barr's who also make Tizer amongst other soft drinks. It is the third best selling soft drink in the UK, after Coca-Cola and Pepsi. This just shows how much the Scots love it, as it can be hard to find elsewhere. Current ... Read the complete review

I have just had my first bottle of Irn Bru (pronounced iron brew) in over five years. What have I been doing all this time, it's a lovely drink and a superb morning pick-me-up. I actually live in the town where Irn Bru is now made. Production of this fizzy soft drink has, in the last few years, shifted from the east end of Glasgow to Cumbernauld, around ten miles north-east of the city. Thankfully, unlike the shift in location, the drink has not changed. It is, for me, an exceptional drink with a wonderful ... Read the complete review

Ever since meeting my wife I have been hooked on this most peculiar drink. So here it is... a review on Scotland's 'other' national drink from an English point of view! Irn Bru is a sweet fizzy drink with an indescribable taste (although I shall try my best later on), which is much copied, but no-one else ever comes close. ... Read the complete review
