AdamFA Barr Irn Bru: ... Bru, the national drink of the Scottish, is by no means limited to my friends north of the border; whether you re English, Irish, or Scottish, you can t help but love this drink. Its hard to place flavour is a little bit lemony, a little bit limey, a hint of orange and iron, plus a little bit creamy, and the list goes on. Available from most newsagents, supermarkets, and pretty much anywhere that sells soft dri...

thehonesttruth Barr Cream Soda
... my local area, as well as a milk man, we have a pop-man, who comes around once a week on his little float , knocking on the door and asking what fizzy delights me and my sugar crazed daughter would like to drink! One of our favourite drinks is Barr Cream Soda, which (from the pop man) comes in a sturdy, slightly curved clear bottle, embossed with the barr logo round the neck, which you can then hand back the next week to be washed out and re-used . If you don t live in area that has a pop delivery man (poor you!) don t worry, you can pick up this fabulous fizzy pop from many corner shops, usually in 2 litre bottles, or in cans. I don t often see it in supermarkets tho...

jammedfool Barr Irn Bru
... an amazing drink. Its kind of like drinking sugary water, but with some other ingredients added. Actually, thats all it is, but it tastes so good! I cant imagine it being terribly good for you though, seeing as it has 29% of your GDA of sugar in 250ml. Seeing as you can buy it in 500ml bottles this is especially bad. I usually only drink it as a treat occasionally. Sometimes you can find it on offer, but it is quite cheap compared to other fizzy drinks anyway, making it very tempting if you need to buy lunch somewhere. The first thing you notice when you take a swig of irn bru is the immense sweetness. Then, a couple of seconds later you get a strange bitter-sweet af...

djkunal St Clements Fruits Strawberry and Lime Juice
... browsing through the drinks aisle in my local supermarket recently, I came across this colourful fruit juice & decided to pick it up and take a look at exactly what it was. The label described it as a fusion of strawberry & lime, but made out of natural flavours. It sounded quite good and priced at under 80p, I thought I d give it a try. This is a still drink that you can drink straight away without the need to add water like a squash. The taste is quite interesting, I would say the lime dominates over the strawberry flavour. But there s something very unusual about it which I can t really put my finger on. Although it s supposed to be made of natural pro...
