The novelty of being fermented in freezing temperatures as well as the polar bear logo doesn't amply cover up what is a less than average beer. Colour wise, it's wee like, there's not a lot of head to it but a lot of initial lacing which flattens quite quickly. Bear Beer Ice gets its name and taste from the fermentation process which involves being put in freezing temperatures. I can't elaborate on that as I'm no beer scientist! Having tested the Bear Beer range recently, I wasn't overly impressed.
