Advantages: Not the most expensive Beer ever
Disadvantages: Nasty taste, which defeats the object!
Becks is one of the nastiest beers I have ever drunk in my life, and I`ve drunk a lot of beers in my time! :-) Basically it just tastes "funny", there isn`t much more I can say about it. I can`t put my finger on exactly what the problem is, but Becks always tastes as if it has gone off. If it was just one bottle then I`d think it was a dodgy batch of beer, but I`ve checked it out a few times - months apart and in different bars/pubs,and the beer still tastes weird. It smells normal, it`s just a weird taste. Then again, they claim to have changed all the sugar to alcohol, so I suppose that this nasty taste could be the beers unique selling point. Then again if it was my product I`d start puttnig the sugar back in to make it a bit more drinkable. Then again, this does mean that Becks is slightly stronger than most beers. not by much, but by a small amount, which might help to change your mind about the taste. Becks tends to be an averagely priced drink, but there are much better value for money drinks available out there. Rather than trying Becks I`d suggest you try soemthing else, even if it ends up costing you more money.
