Belhaven Fruit Beer ... is a light and refreshing bottled beer. The fruit is not over-powering and I would suggest that this is a perfect beer for a balmy summer s evening. This light bronze golden ale has hints of blackberries and raspberries, melding with the malt body, and a feeling that it could easily contain the dew from the heather. Not being overtly bitter this ale will most certainly appeal to a lot of people. It is a useful beer to have with food. It will compliment meals as diverse as pizza, fish dishes, Chinese takeaway, and omelettes. I wouldn t normally recommend this about an ale but I would suggest this is best served chilled. This sort of beer would be guaranteed to go down... Read the full review: Belhaven Fruit Beer by RealAleNet |

Belhaven Fruit Beer ... August we nipped down to London to visit the Great British Beer Festival at Olympia. There were loads of beer on offer arranged into regional sections, a new beers bar and special brewery sections. We tried a few different ones and, on the train home, we discussed what our personal "Beer of the Festival" would have been. Belhaven claim to be one of Scotland s oldest breweries. Brewing commenced on the ... Read the full review: Unforbidden Fruit! by tange |

Belhaven Best ... Best is one of the greatest beers you can buy. It's a fine ale with a fine flavour and scent. One of my friends introduced me to it and i have drunk it ever since. It doesnt leave you feeling bloated because its not fizzy like lager or cider but it will leave you with a sweet taste in your mouth and a lust for more. It isn't very high in alcohol but it is very high in taste. I love the stuff and can't get enough. BELHAVEN BEST, BEST SERVED WITH A WHISKEY CHASER! ...
