I love whiskey,actually whiskey and brandy are the only alc. drinks i like. I always was a man who likes perfection,so i am used to drink over 12 years old blends! The only brand from "the cheap ones",which i think that deserves my respect is "Bell's"! An absolutely high quality 8 years Scotch with very smooth character,nice pure taste maybe a little light for people who likes Berbon or smoked blends but surely OK for me. In my opinion "Bell's" is the cheap "young" cousin of "Glenfiddich"! The mystery is that this brand is so unpopular and unknown (at least in my country Greece), when other much lower in ...

I Must declare my partiality, Bells is my blended whisky of choice it has been so for more years than I care to remember,perhaps if I increase the intake I will not remember. My first encounter with this my life time companion was when I won a bottle at a tombolla, I was thirteen at the time so promptly hid it from parental gaze and smuggled it back to my boarding school. A few days later it was discovered and confiscated and locked away never to be seen by me again I thought.
