Belvoir Organic Lemonade is part of Belvoir Fruit Farms Presse range of drinks and can be found in 75cl bottles and the smaller 25cl bottles.

I first came across this drink while in the cafe at Ludlow Food Centre. I'd ordered a lemonade with my lunch and was brought one of the 25cl glass bottles and a glass to pour it into. It tasted delicious! There's no doubt about it, this is proper lemonade... You know, lemonade that has actually been made with lemons, not the stuff on the supermarket shelves they claim to be lemonade.

Having seen large bottles (75cl) of Belvoir Organic Lemonade in my local supermarket (Tuffins), I decided to grab a bottle as a treat. The large glass bottles look great and wouldn't be out of place when replacing a wine bottle on a dining table (for the non-alcoholic drinkers). The glass bottle has the Belvoir logo stamped on it, along with a yellow organic-looking paper label on the front and a white paper label on the back. The font used is a handwriting font, but it is easy to read even when small.

This organic lemonade is made from carbonated Belvoir spring water, organic cane sugar, fresh organic lemon juice & rind and citric acid.

Obviously a large amount of sugar isn't good for you, but it is fine in moderation. And anyway, what is lemonade without some sugar?!

This organic lemonade has a lovely fresh taste and is one of the best proper lemonades I have tasted. Lemons tend to be bitter, so obviously there is a bit of bitterness in this drink, but not overly so... You certainly won't be pulling a face while drinking it (like I did when I had a "real lemonade" in York!). As with most drinks of this type, Belvoir Organic Lemonade is best served chilled (so put it in the fridge for a while) and over ice. It can be drank on it's own or used as a mixer.

It costs around £2.40 for a 75ml bottle and around £1.25 - £1.50 for a 25ml bottle of Belvoir Organic Lemonade.

I always choose this lemonade when having lunch at Ludlow Food Centre's cafe and a large bottle makes a refreshing change for the dining table when having guests. I would certainly recommend it!
