German Beers can be quite heavy on the stomach but they make up for this through their flavour. While living in Germany I used to drink Berliner Kindl Weisse,I would highly recommend it. It has to be poured very slowly and left a minute or two for the liquid to settle before refilling the glass. It is clear no clouding and pale looking in colour with a frothy white head. With a strong yet pleasant flavour and goes down well with most meals. The taste is second to none and very moreish.
