Advantages: Great flavour
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
Black Sheep Ale. This the session ale from the black sheep brewery at Masham(cheers Magpie) and it is a rather fine ale too. As with all the ales from the brewery its a real ale which means its not pasturised (unless you buy the bottles of course). This is a very smooth ale and has a very fruity taste and a nice aftertaste too. I would wholehartedly reccomend this ale to anyone (over 18 of course :)). Being only 3.8% on tap it really is a session ale that you can drink all night without really feeling its effects (well until pint no 5). Its made from light hops wich gives it its distinctive colour and fantastic very slightly hoppy flavor. I firstly became addicted to the black sheep range of ales after visiting their brewery in Masham! . Taststing the barley and hops that the ales are made from really got me into this range of drinks. The whole brewery is so clean and the shepered tour is something I would recomend to all. Would reccomend this to anyone.
