Boddingtons what a sense of heaven, To me a tall, chilled glass of frosty Boddingtons is more than a Beer. It is a gateway or portal to a dimension or place in which a feeling of relief and safety exists in an omnipresent manor from the hostile forces of the outside world, especially at 5pm on a hot sticky summers day. It is truly a beer above all over beers and is definately something to be proud of if you live in the UK. In my view it is superior to other european 'drinks' such as Stell Artois and Carlsberg, or at least much more advanced. From the cool foamy bubblebath sensation experienced in the beer's head to the sweet nectar that is the sharp taste of Boddingtons each sip/mouthful is a gift from the Gods. The taste will not 'burn' your tastebuds and give an acrid sensation within your mouth, instead it offers gentle refiel and calms your nerve, which I love. I know for sure this is my favourite beer and I wouldn't give a Boddington xxxx for anything less. Up with Bod!!!!!!! Thunderchild

- 11/07/01 A pale imitation of its former 'real ale' self. Still better than most of the continuous brew ales though ...
Still prefer the 'dark stuff' ... |
