Advantages: refreshing, tasty

Disadvantages: you may not drink beer

I have to tell you about Boddingtons Little Boddie Bitter.
They are delicious, not just a mans beer, oh no.

These are sold in Safeways for 3.99 when they are on offer or 4.99 normal price.
You get 12 little bottles in each pack, the pack is cardboard and is yellow and black, just like all the other boddingtons bitter cans and bottles.
This bitter is 3.8% vol so is not too strong, infact its just right for us girlies and is especially tasty with lemonade.

The little bottles have the yellow and black boddingtons label and the bottles are 25 cl, so they are tiny.
The lid is yellow and black too.
These are great for parties as you can stand around with them in your hand looking cool, they are so cute.
This is a light bitter and does not have a strong bittter taste, it's smooth and palatable.

There's a web site too http://www.boddingtons.com.
I haven't visited it yet but will soon.

The taste, well its creamy, and not a heavy beer, its refreshing and is very easy to drink.
I'm not a big fan of beer but after tasting this I'm convinced that I have been missing out.
It hasn't a strong hop taste or a strong malty one, its just light and refreshing.
Its best served cold from the fridge and is ideal for a nice chill out beer.

My hubby drinks this all the time, as he doesn't like to get drunk and can enjoy himself without having to worry about getting in a state or having a hangover in the morning.
I love to make shandy with them as they are not very strong but are refreshing.

If you find it on the shelf give it a go, what have you got to lose?

Nice review there. I must say, I'd never actually thought about making a shandy with it though.

Not so long ago Boddies tried closing the brewery in Manchester and moving to elsewhere but following public outcry and a few well placed articles by the local news paper, some commision (i think it was the European) said that they couldnt do this and still call it "Boddigtons, the cream of Manchester".

So the brewery still remains open!

I like a drink of it now and again :)

Nice, I like Boddy, but too expensive for me compared to French supermarket prices.
