Boots Shapers - Orange Juice Drink What is it? ******** A drink by Boots. Special features? ************* This is an orange juice drink from Boots' Shapers range. A drink that has been fortified with vitamins A & E. What do I think? ************* I was quite surprised by this drink actually. It's seems to be just an average bottle of soft drink which it is, but it's also had extra vitamins added to it and can also act like an energy drink. I was feeling very tired and sleepy at the time I bought this, and after 10 minutes of drinking this, I was wide awake - okay, maybe it was just a dehydration thing (!). Anyway back to the drink itself, it's a drink made from orange juice that is from concentrate, but the taste still feels very authentic and fresh. At first I did think that it was a drink that had added artificial sweeteners but the bottle does actually state that there are no artificial additives added and so there is a certain amount of natural sugar in it. The drink is very similar in taste to Oasis and Fanta but of course just in still form. Personally, I feel it tastes better and doesn't feel as if too much water has been added. Strangely, when you first open the bottle there is hardly any scent, it's as if you've opened a bottle of water, I actually prefer this, but once you take that first sip, it's definitely a lovely orange drink taste and it's hardly noticeable that it's actually a spring water drink but only flavoured with a little orange. This costs 99p for a 500ml bottle on its own, which I think is a little bit too much, however, this is part of the lunch deal at Boots, so it is possible to almost get this free as part of the lunch deal! Thanks for reading. ©Leighsa 2010
