Advantages: Its a nice enough water
Disadvantages: At a far too high of a price.
Whilst in Greggs the other day I noticed a bottled water that I hadnt tried before, Brecon Carreg. Not usually one to buy bottled water, or one to buy drinks from Greggs (who incidentally charge 70p for a can of Coke) I decided to I needed a drink.
Greggs of course is better known as a Bakers rather than anything else and is one of the reasons Iamafatlittleboy. However in recent years they have started to push healthy options such as Sandwiches and this mineral water, sadly 5 years too later and also sadly its not wallet healthy.
So from the Brecon Beacons Nation Park comes this, the Brecon Carreg, or should it be Brecon CarGregg? A naturally purified water from rain,Ill be honest, I thought rain water had alsorts of chemicals in and as a result wasnt healthy. Oh well lets not get into nitpicking.
The water is clear so its 1 up on Britvics Drench which seemed to be tainted. So already its doing better than one of the biggest brands in the water industry in Britain.
The smell is none existant, this perhaps seems a silly observation but water should be odourless any smells in a bottle of none flavoured water show the drink is tainted and it shouldnt be.
So all it comes down to now is the taste. Thankfully again it is what one expects from bottled water, a tasteless liquid that rehydrates and is easy to drink. Yes it may seem silly to applaud something for being tasteless but thats what water should be. Overall Id rather have Volvic though as it was considerably cheaper.

Overall a nice enough water but tap water is better. Greggs healthy range does little to help an unhealthy economy as they again try to rip us off. What happened to a time when Greggs offered value for money?
Summary: Wouldnt bother with it.
