I have been drinking Cherry 7 Up for a good few years now, as I mostly drink water and I find Coke is just far to sweet for me. A point I will make, is Cherry 7 Up isn't sold everywhere and only certain places sell it, I found that my local Asda and Tesco didn't sell it up until lately whereby my local paper shop has been selling it for a while. I don't really like the normal Lemon and Lime 7 Up, but the cherry is really nice. Upon opening a can you can tell it isn't to fizzy and not to flat, the smell is, have you guessed, of Cherry and doesn't smell overly sweet unlike some soft drinks do. Every once in a generation, the world of soft drinks brings us a new chosen one. The 80's had Diet Pepsi, the 90's had Tab:Clear and the end of the noughties brings us Cherry 7-Up. Quite possibly the greatest soft drink of all time. Priced at an absurdly 39p in my newsagent I had worringly never heard of it until I realised my usual favourite (Dandelion & Burdock) had sold out so I bought this by default. It tastes of cherry but is not as overpowering as say, a supermarket equivalent and it isn't gassy at all so you don't feel bloated when you drink it. Right now im sitting in bed after walking a few hefty miles in the basking spanish sun. A few minutes ago I was wondering, what could possibly quench my thirst apart from contemptible chlorinated tap water? Then the solution came to me, a stroke of brilliance I wouldīve never believed possible of myself. Britvic 7 Up Cherry! Best served cold, with a sweet suculent taste guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Consisting of Carbonated Water, high fructose corn syrup and of course artificial flavouring. High in sugar and can be expensive.
