**Introduction**

If you are a regular reader of my food and drink reviews then you may have read that I like to try new things when I shop and on a recent shopping trip in Tesco's I was Looking for another drink aswell as my usual Pepsi Max I decided to take advantage of an offer in Tesco for 7up free, The no added sugar equivalent of 7up. I'm not really a big drinker of Lemonade but I do like to purchase 7up now and again when I want a change from Pepsi or Dr Pepper.

**7up Free**

7up Free was released by Britvic in 2007 to target a new section of the soft drinks market which seems to be going down the no sugar route. Over the past few years there have been more and more low sugar drinks which have done well against the added sugar rivals. Looking at the differences between the two bottles of 7up and 7up free you will notice only a couple of real differences. These are the "Free" icon which is slanted underneath the 7up sign whereas the normal 7up does not have anything else there.

**The Taste**

When I drink Lemonade I like it to be really ice cold as that's when it is at it's most refreshing and tasty, If it's cold then you are rewarded with a thirst quenching drink which has a naturally subtle lemon and lime flavour which isnt sharp like some lemonades can be. Overall this is the nicest tasting Lemonade I have ever tried and one that I will drink more of when it comes to Summer as it's that type of summery drink.

**Alcohol**

We all know that Coca Cola or Pepsi is a great commonly used mixer with alcoholic drinks and Lemonade is also a rather good mixer with several cocktails containing lemonade. One obvious one is Shandy but there are also some great drinks for a summer evening like Pinacolada, Malibu Twist, A Clockwork Tangerine And you can also use it as a good mixer with Whisky.

**Overall**

I will keep drinking my Pepsi Max but I will also buy a bottle of 7up Free aswell when I go to do my weekly shopping. A great tasting low calorie lemonade which is a hit with just about anyone who enjoys a nice cold soft drink. A versatile drink too with all the alcoholic drinks you can make with it. A fantastic drink that will refresh you.
