Advantages: costs 30p, tastes good, well designed logo and layout, bottle is eye-catching and durable
Disadvantages: nothing!
I was thinking of something to write about, and the bottle of 'Drench' on my bedside table came to mind.
First of all, the actual water. I wouldn't really say there's anything amazingly special about it, it tastes like most other bottled spring waters, although in my opinion it is better cold!
The main reason I love Drench is the bottle, unlike most bottled waters, it is a 750ml water bottle, which is, for me, a perfect size. I think 500ml is too small for me, and if I was out and about, a litre is a little too much to carry around all day long, especially when I don't have a bag. The bottle doesn't feel as cheap as other bottles, the plastic feels stronger and more durable, which will make you want to use it again, unless you just want to go buy another bottle, after all, everywhere i've seen it, it's been 30p, which is a lot cheaper than other bottled waters! Unfortunately, i've only seen it in two Woolworths stores... The design of the bottle is very attractive, it's a nice shape, fits in the hand well, and has a cool, raised section at the neck of the bottle in the shape of a splash of water dripping down the bottle. The logo design and positioning of the slogan, nutritional information and other information is outstanding, making the bottle more visually interesting. The logo design is very simple, it's just the word 'drench' in small letters (not caps), in a mid-blue colour, on a white background - there are also two drips of water in a even lighter blue. In my opinion it looks very good, even though it's very simple.
It tastes good, it's well designed, and the bottle is durable enough to be used over and over again, and it's only 30p a bottle!
Summary: tastes good, well designed, bottle is durable enough to be used over and over and it's a bargain!
