Advantages: Refreshing; Very fresh tasting to start with
Disadvantages: Starts tasting stale quite quick
I've never heard of Drench bottled water before but that was the only one they had in the kiosk at the train station today so I got it because I don't think there's a lot of difference in bottled water so will try and brand I see.
I think out of all of the bottled water I've tried this one is the one that tastes most like tap water, and I mean that in a good way because I live in Birmingham and we've got wicked tap water. That's why I don't drink a lot of bottled water because ours is that good that you can drink it straight from the tap, but I went to Bristol with my mate once and their water is rank.
So it tastes like Birmingham tap water, take that as a compliment!
It's very refreshing when it comes straight out of the fridge and I drunk most of it back straight away. But when I got home about 3 hours later and went to drink the rest of it I thought it tastes quite stale and I was suprised about how dull the water went so quickly.
I like the smoothness of the drink and also that it doesn't taste too strong of minerals like Volvic and Evian, you can taste that it's a pure drink and it tastes a lot fresher because of that.
The bottle is good, it's got a sports cap and it's easy to drink out of. When you push the cap down it doesn't leak at all and even though the plastic bottle is quite thin it stood being shoved in my bag for hours without denting or starting to look battered.
I paid about 69p for it and that's about the same as all the other bottled water, cheaper than I was expecting for a train station actually.
Summary: A Very Nice New Bottled Water
