A little too sweet. (Britvic J20 Orange & Passionfruit)

Disadvantages: Too sweet / orangey for me.

After reading a few reviews on the different flavours of the Britvic J20's, I thought I'd give it a go myself as the reviews were mostly positive and full of praise for this drink. This is a non-alcoholic, non-fizzy drink which comes in many different flavours to suit your taste buds. When on a night out, and not drinking alcohol for some reason or another, I will buy this J20 Orange & Passionfruit as a substitute. It tastes rather like orange juice, very pure and fresh-tasting but the passionfruit adds a difference and gives it that edge.

*****APPEARANCE*****

The bottle the J20 comes in is shaped rather like you would get an alcoholic in, such as WKD. This gives me a good first impression. The bottle is a good shape to hold, and the size is not too large. There was 330ml of drink in the bottle I had.

*****TASTE*****

I was actually quite surprised and impressed by the overall taste of the Orange & Passionfruit. As I said, it does taste rather like freshly squeezed orange juice with a hint of passionfruit giving it a bit of a tang. It tastes sweet, but in a good way. I liked it, but not as much as some of the other flavours e.g. Apple & Melon (my favourite). I think this is because I'm not the biggest fan of orange juice but hey, I thought I'd try something different for a change.

*****OVERALL*****

I wouldn't really like to drink this all the time, just on an odd occassion. Other people may disagree, but this is my personal opinion. I think the taste is just a little too sweet for me.

Summary: Give it a go.
