“ Soft Drink. „
These Pepsi max twist's that were around a while back but only for a short period have in fact been re released but with the new name "citrus freeze" and a newer more stylish bottle design with darker green and i have so far only seen it in the two litre bottle and 500 ml bottle designs, no cans as of yet.
The Pepsi max citrus freeze looks just like the ordinary Pepsi max with no differing colour which could be expected from a flavor change, i was a bit dissapointed with this drink but it would be a lie to say that i didn't love it. The problem with this drink is that it doesn't really taste that much more like citrus fruits which is pretty much what you anticipate. When you search for it you can taste it slightly but not particularly what you expect, you think it's going to hit you and be a great taste but i cannot lie and say it is. What this does do though is make Pepsi max even sweeter! which i personally think is great as i love the sweetness but i could go sweeter. I believe that any Pepsi max lover will enjoy a glass of this and it can be purchased fairly cheaply also. I have picked this up the other day for only 2 for £2 which is quite a good promotion for a corner shop so you may find it even cheaper in larger franchised supermarkets.
In conclusion i do believe this to just be a sweeter version of Pepsi max so i wouldn't pay more than normal Pepsi would cost however i do think it makes a nice addition with making it sweeter. Definitely worth a try as i could be me just having poor taste buds.
I have only ever found it in a couple of corner shops and once or twice in "subway" stores local to me. But whenever i see it i make sure i grab myself a bottle of which, i've only ever seen it in 500ml's variety. I am a true pepsi max fiend and often find myself drinking a couple of 500ml bottles a day and as the name suggests, this is a great twist on the standard pepsi.
Of course being a pepsi max it has a very low calorie count and is a very fizzy drink, but always manages to quench my thirst and unfortunately usually leaves me wanting more. The twist variety always tastes very bitter to me, maybe a bit too much lime but it leaves you feeling wide awake and very refreshed. Even if you do have to wipe the tears from your eyes if the bubbles go up your nose (although thats probably something only i manage to make happen.)
It's usually the standard £1 a bottle whenever i see it, sometimes more, sometimes less. But never seems to be more expensive than the standard varieties.
I have to be honest, i cant really think of anything more to say other than, try it! You never know, you might like it.
