Advantages: Delicious
Disadvantages: None
I love this drink. They are usually well over a pound and I only ever bought them when Holland and Barrett did them for 99 pence occasionally. I just found them in Asda for 60-something pence. wow! bargain! I think I have found a new addiction.
It is a health drink that is meant to revitalise you and give you a little lift. The vitamin B2 helps your metabolism and someone once mentioned that it is therefore good if you are on a diet - who can say? It surely must be better than coke with vitamins and minerals and lots of natural goodies... surely?
It is lightly sparkling without being too gassy and tastes a little like Red Bull but without the chemicals. It is basically a natural fruity alternative to energy drinks. Far superior in taste. It doesn't leave you buzzing but the bubbles at least do give you a little lift. It's a nice drink to have in the office early afternoon when you need a bit of a pick-me-up.
It comes in a brown glass bottle that is covered with a silver cover. Glass can be recycled easily which is good but the bottles are heavier, which is a downside - you also think there is more left than there is because of the weight of the glass. Still it's a small hurdle to overcome!!
Summary: Highly recommended!

- 09/04/09 Don't really drink energy drinks but I haven't drunk coffee since I was pregnant and still can't stand the smell now. Very much missing what it did for my study brain though! Might see if Asda near us has any for that price. |
