Advantages: Taste, great bottle
Disadvantages: Expensive, never gave me an energy boost
Of late I've been feeling really under the weather. Nothing serious but I've had little energy and not been sleeping great at all. I've been taking energy boosting pills and drinking alot of energy drinks but nothing has helped me. I got to a point yesterday I had drank 2 litres of original lucozade and several cans of red bull through-out the day and still felt rotten and phased out and couldn't wait for bedtime lol.
So today I had to go the hospital and to the Dr's and everything and cos I'd paid my bus fair and the places I needed to go were in town I decided I should look round town as well and grab a few bits en route! Halfway through my shopping trip I felt close to passing out in Boots yet I had 20 quid reward points to spend on smellies on my reward card thing so when I spotted this at £1.46 (yep really!) I thought I'd get meself one and sit down for half an hour!
The Packaging....
330ml silver bottle with a silver tin screw on/of cap. On the cap there is a red and blue stamp and on that I'm told it is Elixir Vitae, Purdey's. That same stamp adorns the front of the bottle along with black and grey writing which tells me it is Purdey's Multivitamin Fruit Drink, Rejuvenation which is 'A unique formula of fruit juices, sparkling water, natural herbal extracts and vitamins, to help towards your well being and provide a healthy and immediate way to feel refreshed at any time'. On the back of the bottle I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients are listed, nutritional information is listed, contact details for Britvic (the manufacturers of Purdey's products) are there, size is stated and finally the bar-code is shown. Very nice bottle and great quality. I do like the glass bottle with the silver wrapper over though it is heavy but it looks nice!

The Drink...
Totally lovely, different and fresh I could get so addicted to these for real lol Light off white water with a zingy taste of grapes and apple blended with spring water, this is really simply a grown up soft drink that is smooth and not crammed with nasties of any kind at all. It's delicate on flavours and is totally refreshing and thirst quenching and leaves no nasty after-taste at all. It's just refreshing and light and very drinkable indeed.
However did it give me an energy boost? I won't lie. No it didn't. Not at all actually! I still felt half dead and my brain wasn't functioning so much so I ended up buying fluorescent green socks! However although for me it didn't give me an energy boost which was disappointing (due to the price I paid for it), but it was lovely and really tasty! I would buy it again but it is expensive for what it is!
Summary: Will buy again!
