Disadvantages: you have to get used to the taste
I used to drink a lot of lucazade as I love the taste and it gives you the energy to carry on working during the day, but I have now replaced my energy drink hit with this Britvic Purdeys, Rejuvenate. This little silver bottle of elixia will lend you energy and refresh you during the day but it isn't a long lasting caffiene hit like some of the newer energy drinks that have flooded the market and it isn't a high sugar or glucose drink either.
It is just a healthier option to choose and can be bought in the Holland and Barrett health shops for around £1.25 which is a bit expensive for the small 300 ml bottle you are purchasing, however all is not lost as I have discovered the B & M shops which are like new cheap stores that are opening in most towns lately stock these little bottles and they cost 89p so if you have a shop near you grab yourself a bargain drink.
The bottle has a really nice design which probably contributes to the high price your paying for the drink as it has a silver coating over the glass bottle with little pictures around the bottle of grapes and apples but not all the bottles have this design some are just the silver coating it depends where you buy from.
This is a multi vitamin drink which picks you up if your flagging during the day and need a little tonic or refresher to help you get through the chores of housework or your job.
It has a twist off lid and when you open it you can smell the drink which is really hard to discribe, the ingredients say grapes and apples but it doesn't smell or taste of these as there are other ingredients like ginseng and oak bark in it which change the taste to one of a unique palette and at first when you buy this you think " do I really like it? " but after a few mouthfulls you soon get used to the taste and I found that it's a taste that grew on me and now I love it and this is my first choice of refreshing drink.
It has Vitamin C, B12, B6, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin and Riboflavin in the ingredients and is made with carbonated spring water. However it does have 106 calories in this little bottle so drinking a few during the day isn't very good if your on a diet, but it will refresh you.
I like these when i'm driving as it helps me to keep concentration on the road and like I say the taste grows on you.
I'm happy to recommend .
Summary: better than lucozade
