Advantages: Tasty, cheap and stays fresh for ages!

Disadvantages: None at all

I love lemonade! However I've only ever found one lemonade I really do like and it's this brand. I'm fed up of drinking overly fizzy, overly sweetened diet lemonades that have never even seen a lemon let alone taste of them. So this is my favoured purchase!

The Packaging....

200ml clear plastic bottle that has a blue screw on/off cap/lid to the top of it and a light yellow and white label to the middle of it. On that label I'm told it's R Whites Premium Diet Lemonade which is made is with real lemons and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there. Other information on the bottle tells me that R Whites was established in 1845, ingredients are listed as is a full nutritional breakdown, contact details for Britvic are given (the manufacturers of this product) the size is stated as I've told you already and finally there is a bar-code on there. The bottle is nothing special but I do appreciate being able to see the lemonade though the bottle to see when I'm running out as the last bottle I purchased of some other brand I couldn't see that and it right annoyed me lol !

The Drink Itself....

Well it's made from lightly sparkling, clear carbonated water. As I say for me this is more sparkly than fizzy and when you undo the cap/lid every time to get a the drink it lets off a small bubbly noise like most other brands.

Store this correctly (making sure you do the lid/cap up straight after using it and keeping it stored in the fridge) keeps this fresh up to 3-4 days. This is best served chilled (ice optional of course) for a refreshing and light drink. Not too sweet this is what it is..... A fresh and light, low calorie refreshing lemonade. It is a thirst quencher and leaves no horrible nasty after-taste of sweeteners although this contains saccharin and no sugar. At 5 calories and a trace of sugar (though no fats or salt added to this at all) this is slightly higher calorie wise than alot of 'diet' options and that in my view is because it's tasty and after-all are we gonna argue about a couple of calories when it comes to a drink being this tasty and managing to not go flat when instantly poured?!

Suitable for drinking alone or mixed with drinks I appreciate the quality of this drink and for me, it's the best lemony drink offering on the market..thus far!

I paid 99p in Sainsbury's for my bottle but it is of course it's widely available and also is in a full sugar variety!

Summary: You can't beat the best but good luck with trying!
