Britvic R Whites Premium Lemonade

I am a huge fan of lemonade and in particular I love R Whites Diet Lemonade. However I've been working out more (at the gym) and dropped off consuming 'diet' stuff because I have to eat loads to keep my weight up! So the other day I picked up a bottle of this (2L) priced at £1.29 a bottle in my local Sainsburys to try! The Packaging.... We had a garden party two weeks ago and we bought a lot of drinks. As there were some drivers among the guests we bought some fizzy drinks as well. One of them was R Whites Premium Lemonade. It is in a completely transparent plastic bottle, the drink itself looks like lemonades usual. The label on the bottle is yellow and green striped and it is written with large blue letters on it R Whites then below Premium and below Lemonade. This text has a yellow, lemon shape background. R White's Lemonade are registered trademark of Britvic Soft Drinks it has been produced for over 150 years. It is one of the nicest lemonades I have tried, I will admit it's not the best lemonade I've had but I am quite impressed with it, I think it has quite a strong lemon taste compared to other brands, so does taste quite tangy. Taste just like it's homemade. The lemonade is quite refreshing especially with some ice, great for a hot day. I do sometimes think it's a bit gassy so I do leave it a wee while so it goes a bit flat so it is a lot easier to drink and so you don't get gassy bubbles bursting in your face. I have consumed many bottles of R Whites Premium Lemonade in my time, and to be honest it isn't my favourite. I feel there are much better, cheaper alternatives on the supermarket shelves. Personally, the taste of this lemonade is not quite sweet enough, and I find the "lemon" to taste quite manufactured, with the overuse of saccrin. This comes in quite up-market packaging, which makes it easily confused with the higher end products, but a higher end product it is not. If I were to have to reccomend a high quality and cheap lemonade, I would reccomend to you Schweppes.
