Advantages: Flavoursome, more concentrated so you use less, sort of cheaper.

Disadvantages: None at all.

Having drunk this for years and never wanted to try anything else I decided I'd try a supermarket home brand, mainly because I drink so much of it, and home brands are considerably cheaper, however, having made the switch, I'll be going straight back to 'Robinsons' - nothing beats this!

Firstly you can always expect a great taste when you buy 'Robinsons', especially this 'Fruit & Barley' flavour. The drink is bursting with all sorts of flavours that get your taste buds going and make it so pleasant to drink.

Even though this is more expensive, £1.26 for 1 litre, compared to ASDA's home brand at £1.50 for 2 litres, I find that I use less of 'Robinsons' because it is so full of flavour. When using ASDA's I use about double, so actually when you think about it, 'Robinsons' does come out cheaper. It's more concentrated so you actually get what you pay for, instead of some watered down, flavourless drink.

There are various flavours in the 'Fruit & Barley' series;
- Orange
- Peach
- Summer Fruits
- Strawberry & Kiwi
- Pink Grapefruit
- Apple & Pear
- Tropical

I find the pinker the liquid the sweeter the juice, though I'm sure there isn't some scientific correlation between colour and sweetness.

There are times when you can afford to cut back and buy home brands, but when I find home brand squashes unpleasant to drink, and actually use double the amount, thus it actually costs more, this will be one of those products I am prepared to spend that little bit more on.

Summary: A great tasting squash from a well known business. The best squash around!
