When it comes to drinks I tend to stick to water or pure fruit juice. However there are times when I feel like water with a little twist and for times like this I tend to keep a bottle of squash handy. I find they are also useful to keep to handy when younger guests visit who are not so keen on water, juice or tea. Over the years I have tried many of the squashes on the market and some of my favourites are in the Robinsons range who do some quite nice, flavoursome fruity combinations. Wary of the effect such drinks can have on my teeth I always opt for the 'no added sugar' variety. On a recent shopping trip I picked up a bottle of Robinsons Summer fruits and ... I recently did a review on Robinsons orange squash, I was really pleased with my purchase, especially as I normally buy the Tesco Value orange but on a trip to my local Morrison's store I found a deal on the Robinsons branded squash. I was really impressed with the quality of the brand and the taste of the drink, this was a good thing as I had also brought a bottle of the Summer Fruits no added sugar squash by Robinsons. It was only quite recently that I had tried the Summer Fruits squash and I was stunned that I had not tried it before as it was such a lovely refreshing flavour. The bottle was brought in the 1 litre sized bottle just in case I did not ... Read the complete review

I have tried various squashes and I always end up going back to Robinsons no added sugar variety, as they are always really tasty and reliable. This is one of my favourite flavours, and I think it's a really refreshing summer squash. I get this one or the fruit and barley variety of it. The packaging is actually slightly different than the picture above, but it's mainly the same, and Robinsons is a well known brand so it's easy to spot in the supermarkets. A 1litre bottle usually costs £1.09 from sainsburys but they are very often on offer and currently are on offer at 2 bottles for £1.50 so I tend to stock up and really take advantage of this as ... Always reminds me of summer and tennis, whenever I see these Robinsons drinks. I am not a massive fan of the orange one, but I do occasionally buy the Summer Fruits version, which has a more full bodied taste. So what exactly is Summer Fruits? The name is a little ambiguous. Summer Fruits implies berries, red fruits, so the drink has a strong considered taste of strawberries and raspberries. It is best served diluted with water, though I guess you could mix in other liquids if you wanted to be adventurous, like vodka or lemonade. I usually mix in about an inch of the stuff to a pint of water and that provides a strong enough drink. If you only add ... Read the complete review

While I'm at work I am almost always drinking some kind of beverage for some reason - perhap it's to break up the boredom or just to have something enjoyable to do. Whatever the reason, I always have at least one flavour of squash on my desk along with the usual teas, hot chocolate, etc. Robinson's No Added Sugar Summer Fruits is a delicious squash that makes a change from the apple and blackcurrent and the lemon varieties that I usually get from the same company. It contains no artificial colours or flavours and no added sugar. It does contain artificial sweeteners (aspartame and saccharine). It is also suitable for vegetarians and does contain 10% real ...
