Advantages: A lovely fruity smell and taste

Disadvantages: possibly a little pricey if not purchased on offer

I have always been a fan of Robinsons squash drinks and recall fond memories of the orange squash as a child. I came across the Robinsons No added sugar summer fruits in the supermarket a few years back and purchased it. From that first instance, the squash was a firm favourite in our household.

*Why Robinsons*

Robinsons is obviously a premium brand, therefore a little more costly than the the supermarkets own, however, I feel that they know how to balance their flavours and provide a good tasting and high quality drink. I do prefer the no added sugar range as obviously as a mum, I want to protect my children from the harmful effects that a large amount of sugar can have on their health and teeth plus the fact that I find the alternative to be just too sweet. It is worth noting that the product does contain natural sugars and also recommends that extra water should be added to the normal concentrated mixing amount when giving to toddlers.
My best advise to people who like Robinsons but don't like to pay the extra it to do as I do and keep an eye out for offers in supermarkets for buy one get one free or three for two for example. This is how I purchase mine, I bulk buy and in the long run I feel that it works out the same as the supermarket brand.

*The squash itself*

On the bottle it specifies that there are no artificial colours or flavours in this product. When you drink the squash, you can taste the fruits and can not sense anything of an artificial nature. There is a definite fruit taste to it this is made up of the mixture of fruits in the ingredients such as apple, strawberry, raspberry and cherry. This is a very pleasant tasting drink and certainly is a taste of summer all throughout the year. Compared to some cheaper squashes, I find that Robinsons lasts longer and offers better value for money as less cordial is required and on average there are around twenty servings per bottle which is more than you would get from a cheaper alternative.
The smell of the drink is peasant, fruity and enticing. After drinking, there is a pleasant after taste and a good sense of refreshment, especially if served with chilled water.

*Summary*

I would recommend that you head to the supermarkets and stock up. It's a well designed product with a fabulous summer taste to please the family all year round whilst protecting their teeth from some of the harsh sugars that cause dentist visits.
A good product to have in stock and remember to try and buy it when it's on offer.

Summary: An ideal summer drink - well worth the extra pennies
