Advantages: Cheap, sweet, healthy

Disadvantages: none

I have been searching round for a Summer Fruits drink that as good enough as Asdas, and i think I have found it! This refreshing, sweet drink accompanies a wide variety of food, and really helps to fulfill that thirstyness!

The product --> The drink is a light red colour, and comes in a concentrate of 1l. It is in a durable, quite strong and well made plastic bottle (ideal for putting more drinks in and using as a bottle) and has a green plastic screw top. It is clear, with a robinsons label and in blue 'no added sugar' underneath - which seems to be the faze at the minute.

Nutritional Value --> I find this a very healthy drink, it doesn't contain a high amount a sugar at all - and sometimes that hinders the taste - in this I find it is still easy to drink and very good quality. In a 200ml serving it contains

Calories -18g
Sugar - 2g
Fat, Sats & Protein - 0g

As you can see, it is much better than carbonated drinks to be refreshing and especially for children it is healthy. It is quite concentrated so it does need to be tried and tested to get is the right concentrate for you.

When I have a curry I find that this drink accompanies this best (Chicken tikka masala) and I always always have this with it. I think it goes best with heavy food because it is so light, and sweet - but fizzy drinks often add to feeling bloated and uncomfortable.

Cost --> I often buy this in Asda and it retails for about £1 however, I would expect it costs more than this in other supermarkets. Because you don't need much to add to water, it does last a long time and so works out as a much healthier, cheaper alternative to most other drinks out there.

Robinsons have a good name for themselves, and its easy to see why, they offer quality in so many of their drinks. If this flavour isn't for you then there are so many more, from orange, fruit and barely, apple and pear, apple and blackcurrent, peach and orange and passionfruit.

Very refreshing, nice and sweet (without piles of sugar included) and lasts well, a fabulous drink!

Summary: A lovely looking, refreshing drink - fantastic!
