Britvic Tango Cherry
Advantages: Tastes delicious!
Disadvantages: Sometimes they can be sold out!!
When it comes to tango my favourite flavour changes every other month, and at this time it's the yummy cherry tango. Of course with tango you many other flavours from orange, apple, black current and citrus. However when I go in to the shops it seems that the orange is most popular, as tango was originally just the orange flavour.
Now first thing is I have done a little research in to the history of tango. It was first sold in 1950, launched by Corona. It is now manufactured by Britvic, since 1987. Tango was the actual name of only the orange flavoured drink, other flavours had there own name. There have been many other flavours in the tango range other than the four I mentioned. However they have all been discontinued. Cherry tango has been around since 1998.
The packaging has seen many changes in its time. Though the design now is the logo, the word 'tango' and the colour. So cherry tango has a picture of a cherry surrounded by black with red writing around the can. The logo is black and white with flavour underneath. You get it in 330ml cans and little and big bottles.
The can states that there is 4% cherry juice from concentrate in the tango. It contains sugar an sweeteners, but no artificial colours. You can pick up a can for around 60-80p in most shops.
My opinion on cherry tango - I absolutely love it! You can really taste the cherry in the flavour compared to most cherry tasting pops. I always love a can on a break at work as its very very refreshing although its very morish. I recommend you give it a taste if you have never tried it!
