... 'sexier' orange on the front and a silver background to distinguish it from its sugar-laden brother, the appearance of the bottle is quite pleasing. Bright and colourful, with lots of yellow and orange tones on the logo. I understand this product is also available in cans and smaller bottles, but on this occasion I brought the larger 2 litre bottle ~ Taste I must admit, I was disappointed with the taste. With a name like 'Citrus', you expect something with a little bit of a kick, or a sour buzz. However, the taste...more

Premium Review Britvic Tango Citrus: Tango a no go (898 words)

I'm a bit of a fizzy drink addict much to my dentists' dismay, and while my usual "poison" is of the cola variety I'm not against the odd fruity flavoured drink. I'm usually a Fanta girl when it comes to such drinks but when I saw Tango on buy one get one free in my local Somerfield store I decided to take up the offer, after all a budget is a budget, I grabbed the standard orange flavour and the citrus variety, both in regular sugar versions. Citrus Tango- Introduced in 2007 Citrus Tango is the baby of the Tango family alongside traditional orange, apple and cherry flavours. It is available in both regular and no added sugar varieties and comes ...  Read the complete review

Britvic is second biggest producer and seller of soft drinks in UK and Ireland. Its global business is slowly expanding as well. A tough task for a British company that is competing against Coca Cola. My review here is about the exciting Tango Citrus drink. It is a fizzy drink. I am doing this review because although no drink (water not included) is healthy, at least with this one certain harmful thing have been removed. Tango Citrus has no added sugar or artificial colours and flavours. I wanted to put this point across, for me this is the selling point. We eat rubbish all day long, at least with this drink attempt is made to clear it of some bad ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Britvic Tango Citrus: Tang-no for this citrus drink (518 words)

I have spoken before of my state of terminal diet, which has recently been increased as I am getting hitched in just two short months. It's this state of diet which had me trawling the shelves for something delicious and low in calories to replace the massive void left in my life now I have kissed goodbye to such fatty but wonderful treats such as Fanta Fruit Twist, and Tango Orange. I was looking for something different, and was drawn in both by the multi-buy special offer and the bright orange label of 'No Added Sugar' Tango Citrus. Was my craving satisfied? Was this a true love to last me until my wedding? Read on to find out. ~ Appearance ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not exactly zingy (795 words)

I was out shopping today in my town centre when I was gagging for a drink! Parched, I really was! Now I've never seen this flavour before so I don't know if it isn't that popular or I've been walking round in daze for months and to be fair it's probably the latter! Now I'm a really 'pop' fan. The morning after the night before (last night was a crazy one) all I crave for the next morning is pop and I can't stop drinking the stuff so I purchased 4 cans of Tango in one go and basically sat and drank them all one after the other! Before someone tells me that water is best when hungover, I know that but my taste buds don't agree lol The can I'm reviewing is the ...  Read the complete review

Tango Citrus. Tango Citrus is the latest flavour released by Tango. It's lemoy and sharp, packing a fizzy citrusy punch which is not just refreshing and thirst quenching, but also tastes rather nice if you ask me! Me and my girlfriend are big Tango fans and both of us really like all of their soft drinks. The citrus is my favourite flavour and hers is the Cherry, although both are really nice. Tango offer Apple, Citrus, Orange and Cherry so there is quite a few to choose from. I personally only drink the no added sugar versions of Tango as the sugar content can be rather high in the normal drinks, which I think is it's only downfall. ...  Read the complete review
