I don't drink cider so I have no idea what first possessed me to pick up a bottle of Brothers Lemon Mixed Pear Cider in Morrison's! Maybe it was because it was on offer for £1 a bottle and I fancied trying something different? Whatever the reason, I'm SO glad I did! Since trying the lemon one I was brave enough to try the strawberry and the toffee apple flavours too! Brothers Strawberry Cider Brothers is a relatively new company who make cider, they started out at Glastonbury festival where they started selling their Pear cider in 1995. The company is made up of four brother: Francis, Jonathan, Matthew & Daniel, and their family have been making the cider for 14 generations! I have seen a few adverts around and about for the Brothers range of cider so when the opportunity arose to try it for myself yesterday I decided to give it a go. I believe there are five flavours to try - the two available to me were Lemon & Pear and Toffee Apple. I believe the other flavours are Pear, Strawberry & Pear and Original Apple. I went for the Toffee Apple on the basis that I like toffee and have a somewhat sweet tooth, even if I am diabetic.
