I make no claim to being a wine expert or even an experienced amateur. Red wine is my favourite tipple but I usually stick to a safe Shiraz or a cosy Cabernet at a cost of under a fiver! However, I was feeling adventurous when, a couple of months ago, I saw this on special offer at Sainsbury online, reduced from £5.99 to £4.49, so I went for it. I certainly don’t regret the move because I found it to be a wonderfully different, light and fruity wine. I was even motivated to do a little research to try to discover what made this wine so unusual and it became an interesting little project to undertake whilst sipping the spoils!
