First off let me say that I'm not a big fan of Budweiser, or for that matter American beers in general. Secondly, I'm an even smaller fan of iced beers, having never tasted one yet which was an improvement over the original. However, Bud Ice didn't have too much to live up to in my eyes anyway so whilst at a party recently I thought I'd give it a try... The first thing which hits you with Bud Ice is the horrendous gas content. This would be an ideal accompaniment to a belching contest, but not for a nice enjoyable drink - whats the problem here. Secondly you are hit by the disgusting aftertaste. Served cold, Bud Ice goes down smooth, the ... Read the complete review

Budweiser is a fine lager in its original form, but it also comes in a less well-known form, Bud Ice. Basically, it's normal Bud, but just better!! How is it different to Budweiser? Basically it's all down to the way it's brewed. During the brewing process it is chilled so that ice crystals form, resulting in a sharper, crisper taste. Gone are all bad points of the original Budweiser. While I like normal Budweiser it always seems a bit fizzy and bubbly and you soon feel bloated. Bud Ice cures this, the fizz is replaced by a sharp clean taste, and infact the whole taste of the beer is refined for the better. The drink has a much ... Read the complete review

Bud Ice is another version of the very popular bud (Budweiser) beer, but much better! Apparently it's all in the way it's brewed. I honestly don't know the exact in's and out's of the details, but it works. Unfortuneatley you can buy Bud Ice pretty much nowhere these days. When I first started drinking Bud Ice a few years ago Sainsbury's had 15 330ml bottles on buy one get one free, my house mate and I bought quite a few boxes which kept us going for a little while. But since then I've only seen them on sale in 7 bottle boxes in sainsbury's once! The only place I can now get this beer is in Morrisons, which isn't very close to me. Bud Ice tasts ... Another great drink from the Anheuser-Busch company! Some of you may be wondering 'so whats the big deal about Ice, its exactly the same as the normal beer'. But this is not true, Bud Ice is different from normal Budweiser Beer in many ways. Firstly, whereas Budweiser beer is brewed using a beechwood aging process, Bud Ice is brewed differently. Although consisting of the same hops, rice and barley malt as normal budweiser, it is chilled just below freezing point until ice crystals begin to form in the beer. The specialised brewing process not only gives the beer a lighter colour, but also a unique smooth flavour and lighter ... Read the complete review

Used to love this a few years ago but doesn't seem to be around much these days. I have tried a few times to get hold of this as this is one of my favourite lagers and it's a shame not many places sell this anymore. I thought this had a better taste than normal Budwieser and was more refreshing and has a crisper taste. I don't think this version ever got as popular as it should have done and normal Bud is probably always going to be the better flavour. Bud Ice is a little bit stronger than normal Bud and is quite cheap as well if you can find it in any supermarkets these days. Overall I think Bud Ice leaves a refreshing and different ...
